Michelle Bailey FCIPD  Agile HR Certified Practitioner

When I set up People Essentials I had already been working in HR for 20 years. I started my career in large corporates and multi-national businesses before moving on to smaller businesses. Working in these smaller businesses suited me. I found the variety of work, close connection to the customer, speed of decision making and pace of change so much more exciting and rewarding.

SMEs became my passion – my mission in setting up People Essentials is to help them differentiate employee and customer experience in a way that uses their size to advantage and delivers the productivity they need to achieve their goals.

Now with another 10 years running People Essentials and a team of like-minded colleagues, we provide our clients with an extensive, rich and diverse range of experience…

Outside of work I keep myself busy as Chair of the Thames Valley Branch of the CIPD. I also take singing lessons, do a bit of running and golf and am a member of a very sociable book-club.

David Bailey

David is a chartered civil engineer with more than 25 years’ experience delivering successful projects and contracts ranging from rail to road infrastructure and R.C. structures to high quality paving. He has a proven track record in pricing profitable bids for large construction companies, and in the mobilisation and profitable leadership of complex, long term Local Authority Contracts including Highways, Street Lighting, Traffic Signal and Drainage Maintenance and in the Design and Delivery of Highway, Structures and Lighting schemes.

David advises leaders across the Construction Sector, supporting them to develop and execute their business strategy.  He also advises on business development strategies, bids and tenders and building engaged and effective multi-disciplinary teams.

A committee member of the Thames Valley Branch of the ICE David also enjoys golf and is an expert ‘graft’ cider maker.

Sian Perham

Sian is a Leadership specialist, helping hundreds of leaders realise their leadership potential. Skilled at creating safe environments to maximise people’s learning opportunity she is naturally collaborative, supportive yet challenging with a good sense of humour.

A Results Trained Coach with the NeuroLeadership Institute and a member of the CIPD Sian has extensive corporate experience including coaching internationally; UK, China, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, USA, Germany, France & Luxembourg.

Adrian Wheatley

Adrian spent many years in HR roles in a variety of sectors. He’s experienced the good and the bad of corporate life and knows how it feels to work in large and small organisations. It became clear to him while training as a coach that everyone needs different things in life and that understanding how we tick as individuals is key to leading a fulfilling life at work and elsewhere.

Adrian is a regular visitor to Spain where he has family and likes to sail whenever he can. He plays the guitar and the odd round of golf, both he says, pretty badly!
